A really good article highlighting some of the important aspects of hiring.  Oftentimes, we are so focused on the basics of the hire--do they have the right experience and background, that we miss the nuances that make the hire really work within the group.  Personally, I've found that if you hire with any misconceptions, they don't work out.  Sometimes, you have to look at not only their accomplishments on paper, as well as their interactions and behaviors.
