Mobility is Paying Off

The Yankee Group reports that 2013 is the year for mobility.  We at Invensys couldn't agree more.  In the past year, we've introduced:

• IntelaTrac enhancements for new hand held devices and form factors
• SmartGlance connectors, Win 8 support, and choices of cloud hosting

Mobility is more than just a device--it's a strategy and a way of doing business.  Reading the growth of the market certainly is an indication of adoption, but for the industrial automation industry, we're careful about our use and embracing of new technologies, unless they are proven. 

The uptick we've seen in productivity--in getting information into the hands of the workers, and enabling them to make educated, informed decisions, with the right tools and data--is invaluable.  So the overall consumer market is absolutely driving the industrial market to consider, try, and finally, infuse mobile products into their mode of operation.
